How membership and trips work

  1. Your child / young person can come along to one of our clubs or sessions to see if they enjoy it. On that first day, you’ll be asked to fill in a membership form.

  2. If your child / young person comes regularly (usually once a week), they get to know our youth workers, build friendships, and become part of the group.

  3. Before each school holiday, we ask the children / young people what activities and trips they’d like to do and try to include as many of their ideas as we can.

  4. We then put together a programme and open sign-ups. Places are shared out fairly, with priority given to children and young people who attend regularly.

  5. For safety reasons, we don’t take children on trips if we don’t know them, as it’s important that staff already have a relationship with each young person.
